HAWKESBURY RIVER SAFARI

Our standard Safari Cruise on the M.V. Bay Runner is a catered safari (details below) with one only pick up point being the Public Jetty near the Hawkesbury River Road Bridge at Kangaroo Point Cruise Terminal near the Pacific Highway at a time to be confirmed, but normally at 10am. The duration of the cruise is four (4) hours. ( pick up at Public wharf at Hawkesbury River Railway station optional)

Your safari will include:

• Morning tea:
  Coffee
  Fruit juice
  Hot Danish pastry,
   
• Lunch:
  Chicken & ham
  German potato salad with egg & bacon
  Sweet slaw
  Fresh garden salad
  Fresh dinner rolls with butter portions.
• Coffee & tea urns will operate all day free of charge
• Bar services will be available during the cruise time.

The all-inclusive price is $38-00 per person including GST. To facilitate this price you will need a minimum group size of forty (40) persons. The MV Bayrunner can carry up to 150 persons, although a group maximum of 100 persons is best for comfort.

Our standard route covers up stream to Glenwood taking in much of the history of the river before heading to the mouth of the Hawkesbury & into some of the bays & beaches of Cowan Creek before returning to Kangaroo Point. The bays & inlets of Cowan Creek, which include Refuge Bay, Halletts Beach, Cottage Rock Jerusalem Bay & Smiths Creek, Whale Rock, & Eagle Rock, is another route that is very popular. However these routes can be altered if required, or a different route completely may be chosen.
